Ladbrokes Australia announce new CEO

Ladbrokes Australia has announced that Dean Shannon its current CEO is stepping down for personal reasons and will be replaced by its current COO Paul Cherry is to assume the CEO position.

Shannon will remain with Ladbrokes as an advisor for the time being who has been with Ladbrokes for 3 years. Cherry started at the same time as Shannon who both worked at site Bookmaker.com and Cherry still runs the site.

Shannon said: “I have enjoyed my time in the bookmaking sector and am very proud of what we have built and achieved in the Australian market. The business has an experienced management team that is passionate about sports betting and focused on results and I firmly believe that the Ladbrokes story has much further to run. Paul is a talented executive and the natural choice and I am pleased that he will be given the chance to maintain Ladbrokes’ Australia’s momentum.”
