Full Tilt Hearing in Private

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has announced the hearing on the suspension of Full Tilt Pokers Licence scheduled for Monday will now be closed to the public.

For all those Poker Players that are still owed money by FTP this is bad news but no surprise knowing how FTP has behaved up to now with the lack of communication to players and news services.

Full Tilt Continue to Frustrate Players

FTP had made a pre-hearing application for a further adjournment, however that was dis-counted by the AGCC and will go ahead as planned but in private.

André Wilsenach, executive director of the AGCC, called the decision “disappointing”.

“I am pleased that the FTP hearing will continue as scheduled, as was argued on my behalf. However, I am disappointed with the tribunal’s decision that, notwithstanding my arguments to the contrary, the hearing will be held in private.

“I believe the public has a right to know the reasoning behind the decisions to suspend FTP’s licences and call a hearing, and to hear the evidence that will be put forward on my behalf.”

The AGCC has promised another update as soon as possible.
