Las Vegas Shooting 50 confirmed killed – UPDATE

Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino close to where the music festival was taking place
The Las Vegas Exhibition G2E has been thrown into chaos following the mass shooting at a music festival Sunday evening on the Las Vegas strip.
G2E is set to open on Tuesday 3rd October but on Sunday evening 50 people were confirmed killed and at least 200 injured some seriously as the gunman named locally as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock went on a shooting spree. It has been confirmed by police that the lone shooter has been shot and killed however on the eve of one of the largest gaming expos in the calendar will it severely affect the event given the uncertainty of what has happened?
The shooting took place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino during a country music festival with the reported shooter firing off hundreds of rounds from the 32nd floor of the hotel. It is said that some 40,000 people were attending the music festival and at this time it is not known why the shooting took place.
The iGaming Post wish that all our Gaming colleagues and friends in Las Vegas at this time are safe and well. Our Prayers go out to the Las Vegas Community at this difficult time.
