Macau Registers Huge Rise in January Results

Macau registered a rise of 36.4% in revenues for January, representing revenues of $3.26 billion the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau announced on Thursday.
That rise is the largest recorded since February 2014 and shows the World’s largest gambling hub is recovering well from recent years of decline.
Analyst’s were forecasting a monthly rise of 27% compared to the same period last year but Macau casino operators smashed that expectation.
With the Chinese New Year to come in later in February analyst’s are predicting another steady rise in February compared to 2017, it looks like Macau is looking forward to a very good 2018.
