The company reported a $12.2 billion in bets placed, marking its highest turnover to date. This figure represents a 7% increase from the previous year’s $11.4 billion.

The company’s financial performance has shown consistent growth over the past few years. Since the 2019/2020 financial year, Singapore Pools has maintained an impressive compound annual growth rate of 8.3% for its turnover.

Singapore Pools’ turnover is derived from various betting activities, including:

  • 4-D (four-digit lottery)
  • Toto
  • Singapore Sweep
  • Sports betting
  • Horse racing

The 7% increase from the previous year’s $11.4 billion to $12.2 billion represents a significant jump in betting activity.

Singapore Pools’ record turnover has significant economic implications for the government. In the last financial year, the company:

  • Paid $2.29 billion in gambling duties and taxes
  • Contributed $437 million to the Tote Board
