Reef Casino Hotel sold by Accor

Accor the global hotel operator has announced the sale of their 29% stake in the Reef Casino in Australia along with its involvement in Casinos Austria Cairns and Reef Corporate Services. The total amount of the sale is said to be €55.5m and marks the end of Accor’s venture into the casino business with Casino’s Austria in Australia.

The sale of the 128 room Hotel and casino with more than 500 gaming machines has been bought by Aquis a Hong Kong Investment Company, little more is known of the buyer, but is thought to be a quick investment for the company who will look to sell on over the next two years.
