Bath’s Casino One Year On

Century Casinos buys Bath casino development

The Century Casino opened in Bath, UK one year ago. With both bad and good reviews coming in during those early days, Century Casino seems to have kept going and made it to the one-year mark. From some guests being thankful for finally having a casino close to home, to others thinking that the carpet was plain ‘hideous’, the casino has seen a steady stream of guests frequent the establishment.

In May 2018 when Century Casino first opened in Bath, many of the locals flocked to its premises to give it a try. While some disliked the décor with a passion, most were happy to report that the staff was very friendly and helpful. As for the games, that part has received mainly positive reviews with adjectives like outstanding thrown into the mix.

Century Casino does have a great selection of games and the overall vibe of the place it one of enthusiasm. Many patrons who visit the casino leave feeling like they’ve had a great night. The bars too at the casino have received positive reviews and customers don’t seem to be complaining about much aside from the aforementioned carpet.

There have been a couple of bad reviews, but these focus on the food and the behavior of the staff and not the casino games. While not backed up by other bad reviews one customer called the food rubbish and advised people to stay away from it. Another group claimed that the staff insulted and laughed at them prompting them never to want to return.

But with a majority of reviews being in the vicinity of stating that the Century Casino is the best thing that happened to Bath, it appears that the casino has had a successful first year. Bath was historically a gambling town as stated by Peter Turner who was the Abbey Ward councilor when the casino opened.

In honor of the city’s gambling heritage, Century Casino has named its private space the ‘Beau Nash Suite,’ which is used for private gambling and events. Beau Nash was an 18th century Master of Ceremonies for Bath and had a reputation for being a notorious gambler.

Mr. Turner appears happy that there have been no unpleasant incidents involving the Century Casino over the last year with not much anti-social behavior in the area. With a positive first year, Century Casino can expect to get more popular and invite more success.
