Colorado Sports Betting Continues to Grow

Sports betting in Colorado is now in its fourth year of legal activity and there seems no sign of it slowing down following the release of the latest monthly results.

May 2023 recorded revenues of $385.2 million a rise of 7% compared to $360.3 million in the same period last year.

The Colorado Division of Gaming reported the latest numbers showing sports books posted revenues of $31.4 million a rise of 15% compared to $27.1 million the year earlier helping to produce tax revenues for the government of $2.2 million.

The regulator also showed the figures for most popular sport that locals bet on which is Basketball and Baseball.

Colorado over the last 4 years has consistently been in the top 10 states in the US in betting handle and activity showing that locals there love to place a bet on their favourite sports teams.
