Come and meet the next Galaxy S

OUR mouths have been watering for quite a while now, when it comes to the anticipated arrival of the next Galaxy device. Invitations with an embellished boastful message “come and meet the next Galaxy S,’ have been issued out to all the major tech sites.

Although there was previously news of a May 22 event it appears this was just a false hope. The occasion is shown as Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 on May 3, and the time is 18:00 GMT with the event starting at 19:00 GMT (2pm ET or 11am PT). As well as this there are details of a livestream at www.facebook.com/samsungmobile given on the invitation.

 Techradar.com reports: “There have been a number of leaks suggesting that the next generation of Samsung Galaxy handsets is to launch soon, but Dutch technology site Tweakers,net reckons it now has an official invite to the London event and that it is indeed happening in the next few weeks.

Although the invite says ‘Next Galaxy’, surely there can’t be another Galaxy Tab on the horizon?”

Samsung is aiming to overshadow the hype that is beginning to surround its upcoming next-generation iPhone. That device is expected to be launched by Apple sometime in between June and October.
