Cyprus Casinos Reopen

C2 Casino Cyprus now open

Melco Resorts Cyprus part of the Melco Resorts Entertainment have reopened their casinos on the island Saturday 13th June.

The Macau based operator has 5 satellite casinos in Cyprus while the main resort is being built and following the governments guidelines on reopening the company have now opened Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, and Ayia Napa. The fifth casino based at Larnaca Airport will reopen once it has relocated to a new location.

All the casinos in Cyprus are operated under the “C2” brand and all are running under reduced capacity with stringent health and safety protocols following the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning that only three customers per gaming table and every other slot machine is closed to help reduce any spread of the virus.

Ms. Devi Kerr, Vice President, Gaming Operations of Cyprus Casinos, said on the reopening: “The health and safety of guests and colleagues are our top priority. C2 has prepared a comprehensive series of hygiene measures to safeguard the health and comfort of guests and colleagues throughout the casinos. It is our belief that the casinos’ reopening will not only contribute to strengthening the tourism industry, but also the recovery of the local economy. We look forward to welcoming back our guests and employees to C2.”
