Genting Applies For Ireland Gaming License

Genting the gambling firm that stretches from the US, UK and Asia is expanding its online presence with an application for an online license in Ireland.

Under its “GentingBet” business the company that has seen an increase in business under the stewardship of Jeremy Taylor is now looking to gain a foothold in Ireland.

Genting applied for a remote bookmakers’ licence on the 4th June and under the terms of the license it would be allowed to offer its sportsbook, slots and casino games.

Since Managing Director Jeremy Taylor joined the company in September 2018 the online arm of Genting has improved its offerings and the company in its recent financial filings said their online business had seen significant growth.

Last year Genting bought Authentic Gaming to increase its online streaming capability to merge online and land based gaming offerings.

Taylor previously worked for 6 years with Betsson Group as their Group Marketing Director and Global Brand Director.
