Dutch Online Gambling Applications Begin

As the Dutch Remote Gambling Act came into force the same time the regulator, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) started accepting license applications for operators and suppliers to work within the country.
Although there were some technical difficulties at the start for online applications all has now been resolved and now all is on track for going live on October 1st.
The application fee will be €48,000 which is paid on application and will also include attachments on the policies, a description of the gaming system to be used and have official assessment reports on the system.
Deadline for applications is the 15th April which does not give eager operators much time but the process was understood prior to launch and the regulator says with the early process of granting licenses prior to October will make it fair for all involved.
