eCOGRA to put Danish gambling to the test

eCOGRA has announced that it has successfully completed a rigorous assessment by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and obtained an extension to its International Organisation for Standardisation ISO/IEC accreditation.

This extension will enable eCOGRA to meet the requirements of the Technical Standards and Change Management Programme of the Danish Gambling Authority and allow it to offer its services in Denmark’s online gambling market. Andrew Beveridge, the Chief Executive Officer of eCOGRA, revealed that the agency was now qualified to perform certification work and provide guidance to online gambling operators licensed by the Danish regulatory authority and also those who are applying for licenses to operate.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of eCOGRA, Andrew Beveridge: “The practical application of this extended accreditation is that, along with other criteria required by the strict Danish regulator, we are now qualified to perform certification work and provide guidance to online gambling companies in the Danish market, and those seeking licenses to operate.”

Denmark is not the first country whose online gambling regulatory authority has approved eCOGRA for certification of its licensees.
