Andrea Ellis
It’s a big week for Fanatics the sports ecommerce company as earlier this week it confirmed that it will launch its sports betting business in January and now this is followed by the appointment of Andrea Ellis as the companies new Chief Finance Officer for the sports betting division.
The company that is currently valued at $27 billion is moving quickly to prepare for the launch into the ever-expanding industry in the US and its CEO of betting and gaming Matt King said, “We are thrilled to welcome Andrea to our team as we inch closer to formally launching a new, dynamic online sports-betting and gaming product for fans.”
Company CEO Michael Rubin is planning to launch in multiple states in January and wants the company to be present in each legalised sports betting state quickly after that except New York where he believes no sports betting company can make money because of the tax threshold there.
