Fox Corp has made it clear that their business model going into the future will rely on streaming and sports betting.
Outkick has an exclusive marketing deal already with FanDueal to which Fox has an involvement and Fox said that Outkick is “a significant source of sports wagering referrals.”
Fox and FanDueal were earlier in dispute about a right to purchase an increased stake in FanDuel at a preferred rate, FanDuel owner Flutter Entertainment denied this and although an argument flared up between the two most recently that has gone quiet possible a deal was resolved but it is unknown whether this is correct.
The question is will Fox move to use its new acquisition to promote its smaller sports betting platform Fox Bet or continue with its exclusive deal with FanDuel.
