GameAccount extends deal with Paddy Power

GAMEACCOUNT Network has signed a multi-year extension to its agreement with Paddy Power to supports its Italian online gaming market expansion. The agreement includes a milt-year renewal of its long-standing commercial partnership. This all falls into place as Paddy Power has been monitoring the market in Italy since 2006.

“As one of the first gaming software suppliers that moved into the Italian regulated gaming market in 2008 we have developed the specialist experience, expertise and technical functionality required to serve Italian operators from our hardware platform located in Italy,” said GameAccount CEO Dermot Smurfit. “We’re delighted that this experience will support our long-standing partner Paddy Power as they build a new Internet sports betting and gaming business in one of Europe’s most exciting Internet gaming markets.”

GameAccount has been a partner with Paddy Power since 2004, providing the operator with a portfolio of games including gin rummy, multiplayer blackjack and backgammon.

The company will now also supply PaddyPower.it with a wide range of casino games, including slots and mobile gaming apps developed specifically for Italy, from GameAccount’s Italian platform.

“GameAccount has developed a compelling portfolio of online skill, casino and mobile games along with aggregating third party gaming content with a focus on land-based casino games brought online,” said Giovanna D’Esposito, Paddy Power’s managing director of Italy. “Based on our existing relationship, their commitment to Italy and wide games portfolio, GameAccount was chosen by Paddy Power as one of our partners to build and position our Italian gaming business to exploit anticipated opportunities created by further gaming regulation.”

Meanwhile, in related news, GameAccount announced last week that it has released two more online games based on land-based casino slot games from Aristocrat. With the launch of Sun & Moon and Big Red, a total of ten games have now been released to selected partners in the GameAccount Network.

These ten games form just part of a twenty game portfolio being developed within the GameAccount Network Internet Gaming System, in partnership with Aristocrat.
