July Nevada Gaming figures in the positive

Nevada regulators reported that casino operators in the state enjoyed a 6.8% rise in gaming win for the month to $887.4 million, although the rise was not as high as analyst’s had predicted.

In total for the year so far casinos are winning $11.1 billion which is up 1% from the same period in 2015, but is still 12.7% below the best ever year of 2007 for operators.

Interestingly the main Nevada Strip ended the month down compared to last year with a fall of 0.64% on revenues of $6.3 billion, however the rest of the state posted positive figures to push the win in the positive bracket.
