The fall in revenues is believed to be the lack of VIP Gamblers, the slow-down in economic growth, the ongoing trade dispute with China and the US and also the civil unrest in Hong Kong.
All this spells a miserable month for Macau and analyst’s predict revenues for the whole of 2019 will measure against 2016.
However on the bright side predictions for 2020 show a fair rise in revenues compared to 2019 and with the hope of the trade dispute and Hong Kong situation improving operators are hopeful that 2019 will be a blip for their revenues increase.
