Melco Resorts and Entertainment has announced it will launch a family focused water park at Studio City, the Cotai property which will house the new development will open on the 22nd May this year.
The new theme park is the second phase of the Studio City development which will see 900 luxury rooms increasing the current capacity by 60%, along with this there will be increased gaming space, restaurants, conference and exhibition space.
The increased space and theme park was announced by Melco in their annual report for 2020 with the company reporting annual revenues had dropped by 70% compared the previous year because of the impact COVID-19 pandemic had on its operations.
