Revenues for Nevada gaming dipped in August after previously enjoying a rise in revenues over the summer period. August saw a drop of 3.6% for the month the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported.
Overall Nevada won $920.2 million for August compared to $955.2 million in the same period in 2013, with the main strip in Vegas seeing a decline which before had seen a rise over the last few months.
With strip gaming revenues at $553 million for the month which is a drop of 6.08% from last year’s figures.
Nevada collected $50.7 million in taxes in August’s winnings, a 1.25% fall from last year.
