New Jersey Sports Betting Nears Magic $1 Billion A Month

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) announced the latest sports betting figures for November showing that the magic $1 billion a month is not far away. The current month had $931.6 million in bets placed, which is 16% up on the previous month and an amazing 65.7% up from the same period last year.

The vast majority of bets came from online with $872 million compared to just $60 million from land based sports betting, this figure is not surprising thou as the impact on casino closures and restrictions has impacted massively on the way sports betting is currently happening in many states.

At present in New Jersey for the 11 months of the year a total of more than $5 billion placed in sport bets, more than any other state in the country that allows for sports betting.
