Each week, during a live stream of an NBA match-up, a panel of sportsbook specialists will analyse the best available odds for upcoming fixtures and offer tips and advice for the streaming audience. This production will be co-ordinated in-house by NBA TV and complement a number of other features integrated into the updated platform.
Those enrolled on the app will be able to see broadcasts of all NBA games, gain access to behind-the- scenes content involving players, teams and coaches, watch a number of new magazine shows, and enter the NBA vault.
The re-configured application will also display detailed statistics on individual fixtures and competitions, league standings, and live score updates.
For a fully immersive experience, viewers can subscribe to an NBA League Pass, which gives users a tailored service dependent on their team and preferences, and also offers a wider selection of streams, including additional sports betting programming.
Chris Benyarko, the NBA’s Executive VP for Direct-to-Consumer channels commented, ‘‘Launching our new NBA App and digital platform is a major milestone as we continue to build and strengthen our direct-to-consumer offerings. We are thrilled to deliver a reimagined product that will enhance and personalise the way NBA fans engage with the league on a daily basis’’
