NOKIA is looking at developing a smartphone that will make other handsets look stale and dated. The rumours were first reported in a Finnish newspaper Kauppalehti in which Nokia design boss Marko Ahtisaari made the bold statement.
Further to this, bgr.com reported that the Nokia executive said Apple’s user interface on the iPhone is “poorly designed” and convoluted. “The road from the kitchen into the dining room is always through the front door,” Ahtisaari told Kauppalehti. Meanwhile, operating systems like Symbian and Android are described by the design veteran as “dollhouses,” with furniture users can pick and rearrange.
He didn’t divulge into any specifics about the handset but remains confident that the technology will blow us all away. Ahtisaari said that owners will not have to bend down or even touch the screen in order to operate it.
