Friday the 7th February is the closing date for any company looking to build one of two casino resorts available in Queensland and also a prime location Brisbane casino resort on the Queen’s Wharf.
Australia’s Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney has given developers interested in applying till Friday to stump up the $100,000 non-refundable fee to have their application considered for approval.
The winning developer will have to include hotels, restaurants and conference facilities along with a sports venue to host major sporting events.
Seeney said “We are looking for fair dinkum developers who can deliver real projects, with real investors, in real time frames with real benefits for the people of Queensland. Clearly, there are many parties who share the Newman government’s confidence and vision of these key projects to revive the tourism and construction sector of our economy.” He finished by saying.
