Ritz Club Announce Annual Loss

The Ritz Club owned by billionaire business brothers David and Frederick Barclay has posted loss for the last year of £11.7 million compared to a profit of £8.9 million the previous year.

 

Revenues also dropped from £33 million to £22.3 million with the Club saying customers had a very good year results wise. Although revenues dropped actual footfall into the casino remained constant.

 

However The Ritz Club did say that, “Efforts to encourage new Middle East and Far Eastern players remain focussed and business in 2018 is expected to be more fortuitous.”

 

Rumours of the club being approached last year for a sale were denied and no such offer was officially made by the Barclay brothers.
