SJM announce departure of its COO

SJM Holdings the casino operator in Macau with 20 of the 38 casinos operated there has announced that its chief operating officer and executive director, Ng Chi Sing is resigning. Following the companies annual general meeting it was announced that Mr Ng will step down on the 9th June.

An announcement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by SJM said that Mr Ng will become a as non-executive director of the company from June 10. He had held the position of chief operating officer since 2002.

The announcement comes just two weeks since its founder Dr Stanley Ho passed away aged 98 and rumours continue of who is now in control of the company. Many believe Daisy Ho will eventually assume control of her father vast empire.
