Tapie funds €1 million into new company

Payback?

THE latest Full Tilt Poker news bases itself around FTP registering two new subsidiaries in Malta. These are “FullTilt Holding Ltd.” & “New FullTilt LTD.” It has also been reported that Laurent Tapie has been named Director and Secretary.

The news was first trickled through on the PokerFuse and TwoPlusTwo and relies on information from Irish company directory SoloCheck.ie. Alongside Tapie at the helm of New Full Tilt Limited is Prosper Jerémy Masquelier, named as the company’s second Director. The news fuels speculation that site could be functional soon. According to records New Full Tilt Limited was incorporated on February 14, has a registered Dublin address and is classified as “Software Consultancy and Supply”. Records also show that the company has been funded with €1 million.

In light of this, poker players have started to speculate that their unpaid funds could soon be seeing the light. The news follows on from activity on the site, claiming that there are System Updates currently being carried out. News about Pocket Kings LTD hiring for new staff also fuels the FTP2 re-launch rumours.

Disgruntled poker players have expressed their thoughts towards the latest news within various forums.

“Have you been following any of the news over the past year? They’re not opening back up in the US & they are not paying out to US players (there’s a deal in works where DoJ is paying out to FTP’s US customers).”

“Well this news does nothing for US players, it really sucks cause there is one part of the software I started to like and that was the rush poker, and if they are not paying out to US customers and the DOJ is working on a deal to get us our money, screw that I only had 20 bucks in there, I could just imagine the hoops you will have to go through to get your money from the DOJ, forget that, they can keep it.”
