Yggdrasil granted Romanian licences

Provider now approved for the hosting of gaming platforms and the distribution of gaming software in recently regulated market

Yggdrasil Gaming has been granted two licences by Romania’s National Gambling Office that permits the award-winning provider to supply licensed operators in the country with its portfolio of slots and promotional tools.

 

Yggdrasil titles, including the recently launched Bicicleta, will soon be available to operators which hold a Romania Category 1 licence, with the full portfolio to follow shortly.

 

Licence holders will also enjoy access to the provider’s collection of in-game promotional tools, BOOST™, and social media tool, BRAG.

 

Last year, Romania passed new gaming regulation that opened up the country to compliant and licensed operators and providers.

 

Yggdrasil has been granted licences in the UK, Gibraltar and Romania in recent months, in addition to its Malta licence.
