Indeed the sale of William Hill to Caesars for £2.9 billion saw them make over £220 million already as they own a 6% share in the company which saw the shares soar by 50% since the announcement of the agreed sale by William Hill to the US Casino giant.
The 70-year old plus brothers are billionaires with controlling interests in diverse companies such as Health care and human resources along with their 1,600 plus betting shops.
However even thou they have now confirmed they are not going to bid for the entire William Hill business against Caesars it is believed that should the 1,400 betting shop business owned by William Hill come up for sale then Betfred would certainly be interested.
Caesars Entertainment have already said once the deal is cleared and the sale goes through they would look at selling off the European part of the business. Already 888 Holdings have said that they would be interested in any online parts of William Hill up for sale servicing the European/UK market.
