Casino36 plans to invest £12m in a new casino in Black Country

The Company that brought Casino36 to Wolverhampton and offered a boost to the job market by creating 100 plus jobs in the area is now planning to invest approx £12 million on another site in Dudley. The company opened Casino36 last November and the same company which is responsible for this venue has now confirmed of their second leisure scheme seven miles away. According to its head of the regulatory team at Birmingham law firm Emms Gilmore Liberson, Mr. Peter Adkins this project at Dudley is expected to open sometime in 2018.

As per Peter Adkins this new project will involve the relocation of an already existing casino on Castle Hill Dudley in addition to it a new Bingo Hall will come up to boost tourism and also to add to economy and offer employment to the Black Country town. Peter has already spent 4 years with the company advising on the licensing requirements for the Wolverhampton complex and now he will also look after this new project in the Black Country town.

Peter Adkins said “Going through the process for the move of a casino licence and new Bingo licence is exceptionally complex and the Emms Gilmore Liberson team has been working extremely hard to ensure that our client’s application for new premises in Dudley is completed smoothly.

“Apart from the move of the old licence and the new bingo licence we also need to apply for new alcohol and entertainment licences. We’re looking forward to Casino 36 receiving the go ahead from the local authority so it can start building this impressive new site, which will boost the town’s leisure facilities and create jobs.”

This newly build casino is due to open on Castle gate Leisure Park next year and on this new project Casino36 director Adrian Ballard said Dudley has always been a leading market town. “The plans to move the area forward are admirable and something I am keen to be involved in. “I feel the opportunities our new site will provide will complement these plans and be an additional vehicle to bring much-needed tourism back to the borough.
