A new update has been released by Craig Ballantyne the Property President of City of Dreams Mediterranean and Cyprus Casinos on how the C2 casino is doing, this is the temporary major casino while the Casino Resort is being built and scheduled to open in 2021.
According to the company 34,000 visitors from 41 different countries have entered the casino over the last three weeks. The company also said that Melco’s Reward scheme had seem over 6,000 people sign up.
Craig Ballantyne said: “So far, the number of visitors has exceeded our expectations and we are very gratified with the response from our guests. We believe the accelerating attendance rate and strong performance of new members joining the Cyprus Casinos C2 Rewards Club is driven by the strong, positive word of mouth and self-discovery by the market.”
The temporary casino is Located at 271 Franklin Roosevelt Avenue in Zakaki, Limassol, which covers 4,600m² including 1,300m² gaming area, 33 gaming tables, 242 slot machines, along with a ‘Salon Prive’ VIP gaming area, operating on a 24/7 basis.
Melco did not mention the gaming turnover and whether it was on target only the visitor figures.
