Flutters FanDuel Off to US Listing Following AGM

Flutter Entertainments FanDuel business is heading off to the US for a secondary listing for the gambling giant following a virtual landslide vote in favour by shareholders.

In the companies Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday the company saw a positive vote of 99.9% supporting the companies plan to list the business on either the NYSE or NASDAQ by the year’s end.

A mandatory 75% of shareholders needed to approve the plan and so although Flutter Entertainment will still remain at its Dublin Headquarters and still have its primary listing on the London Stock Exchange at present (that may change depending on circumstances in the future) their hugely successful FanDuel sports betting product in the US which has more than 50% of the entire US market in 2022 will now apply for a US listing.
