SPECULATION is once again circulating about Full Tilt Poker’s re-launch plans. An anonymous source has claimed that the poker site is planning a tournament to attract players and win back its previous fan base. A reported $1 Million added in tournaments in the first week seems to be the popular belief from The iGaming Post source, but not yet set in stone.
The huge promotional plan FTP2 is apparently concocting may not just be all talk or mindless drivel, according to those keeping a close eye to the developments.
It seems that if these plans were to materialise, FTP2 want to make a point of “get involved or miss out” which could create a huge divide between disgruntled and forgiving players in its (rumoured) looming re-launch.
Some poker insiders have said that these latest rumours could have some truth in them if it is to take down and stamp on competing sites in the process. PokerStars…be afraid?
Are staff preparing to clock on? We previously reported that a recent advertisement on the Pocket Kings site, which is in fact a subsidiary of the Full Tilt Poker site, announced that it is looking to hire a lot of people immediately. “Pocket Kings is hiring and has an urgent requirement for experienced multilingual Customer Service reps. With an attractive salary, these 2-3 month contract roles may become permanent and offer an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and energetic company,” the ad said.
