Genting Casinos in the UK have had a major shakeup following the departure of Peter Nolan with immediate effect.
Paul Wilcock who is the President of Genting in the UK announced that Mark Sergeant will become Managing Director of Genting Casinos UK ‘Home Markets’, along with assuming total control of the companies online business Genting Alderney.
Sergeant has been CEO of a UK wide bowling leisure centre company for almost 3 years and prior to that held senior roles at Gala Coral including Managing Director for Gala Coral Casinos.
Peter Nolan who was Managing Director of Genting Alderney, the firms online business for over 8 years has left with immediate effect, one insider who spoke to the iGaming Post but refused to be named said that Genting hierarchy were not happy with the progress or lack of it for the online sector of the business, while watching their competitors take more involvement within the internet business.
On the new restructuring Paul Wilcock said, “Our strategy is to develop a compelling multi-channel experience for our customers across our retail estate, online and mobile platforms. I would like to thank Peter Nolan for the great work he has done building our on-line business. We are now focusing on converging the two businesses together under the guidance of Mark Sergeant.”
