License withdrawn

IN light of the recent Full Tilt Poker on-going drama, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission has announced that they have cancelled their public hearing, which was due to be scheduled for 3rd May. The Full Tilt Poker story continues to gather heat as speculation snowballs; all eyes are on PokerStars and whether they will take over FTP, or whether Steve Wynn will swoop in on the whole drama and stake his claim. Now that Tapie is out of the picture, poker players are waiting on edge for the latest developments.
The official AGCC statement reads:
Orinic licence application withdrawn
Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has today been advised of the decision by Orinic Limited to withdraw its application for a Category 2 licence.
Accordingly, the public hearing scheduled for Thursday 3rd May will now no longer take place.
