The Lucky Dragon Casino Resort
The Lucky Dragon Casino Resort
The failed Lucky Dragon hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip is up for auction at the end of October according to local reports. The resort closed its gambling floor at the beginning of the year with notices saying it would re-open in six months. That never happened and has stayed shut ever since.
The resort opened in 2016 at a cost of $160 million and was set to target high rollers from the far East but failed to reach their target clientele with more recognized resorts in Las Vegas holding on to their customers.
Now the resort is up for auction to the highest bidder with real estate firm CBRE helping to sell The Lucky Dragon pushing the sale by saying that it is in a prime location with ongoing developments of Resorts World and a new convention centre.
