Novomatic buy up Eurocoin Gaming

Novomatic the giant gaming machine manufacturer has purchased through its subsidiary Novo Gam
ing Netherlands Eurocoin Gaming for an undisclosed amount.
Eurocoin is the only supplier of video reel based gaming machines to Holland from Bell-Fruit, which is a subsidiary of Novomatic.
With the acquisition Novomatic is looking to ensure it has a strong foothold in the Dutch gaming machine market sector using brands already under their wing as JvH, Errel, Bell Fruit and Astra.
Thomas Graf, CTO of Novomatic, described Eurocoin as the “leading force” in the Dutch gaming supply chain, noting that it has a market share of around 80% in the pub market and that its presence within the arcade sector is also growing.
“Eurocoin Gaming shares our ambitions; a continuous drive for innovations and being the best in our areas of business,” he said.
Paul Strikers, managing director of Eurocoin, explained that as part of the Novomatic group, the company will provide “premium quality service and state-of-the-art products and innovations” to Dutch operators.
“Our new team will ensure that Dutch operators will discover new sources of revenue via new and innovative products that will open up new revenue streams and at the same time significantly grow the current customer base.”
