Paddy Power Tweet Job Sacking Over Celtic Payout

Now Paddy Power have always been “off the wall” when it comes to promotional stunts, but the one where they paid out on Celtic winning the Scottish Premier League title after just one game this season could backfire.

But currently Celtic having lost two and drawn one on their last three games and having their worst start for 20 years this could be expensive for the betting company.

But whoever in Paddy Power came up with the idea could lose their job according to a tweet on the Paddy Power site. But was it a bad idea? Not really Celtic had won 7 titles on the bounce and all by a huge margin.

Not many believe the tweet to be real and serious about someone losing their job over the idea and once again Paddy Power look to have scored another publicity stunt with the payout, yes it could cost them but with 98% of the season left Celtic are certain to turn it around sooner rather than later.
