Pennsylvania Gambling Revenues Beat 2019 Figures

Online gambling in Pennsylvania helped push up the monthly gambling revenues, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) published its August figures showing total revenues of $310.7 million that is a rise of 5.9% compared to the same month last year.

Also the August revenues rise is 10% higher than the previous month showing that the recovery from COVID-19 lockdown is improving. However land based gaming is still down from the corresponding year with slots revenues down 19% and table games down 14.5% from August 2019 figures.

In total online gambling revenues in the state stood at $56 million for August with online slots the biggest revenue inner with $39.6 million then followed by online casino games with $13.6 million in revenues.
