Russian President Wants Casinos To Name All Cashouts

Vladimir Putin the Russian President  has issued a decree that will make all casino operators name customers cashing out in an attempt to increase tax revenues.

The President that for nearly six months has been hiding in a protective bunker to ensure he does not contract COVID-19 has said that casinos must step up their identification of those patrons cashing out either on slot machines or live gaming tables.

It is required that cashiers must take the customers passport number and or their tax identification number, this will help tax authorities calculate the players tax on their winnings more easily.

The “Provisions of the Tax Code” which was introduced early in 2020 calculates the tax a gambler must pay on their winnings within casinos, many operators fear that the tax code is a way of finding out who and how much a player gambles and to go after them for undeclared earnings.
