Ever since Pennsylvania moved into overdrive with legalising online gambling Las Vegas Sands has wanted out of the state, knowing that because it wants no involvement in online gambling would put it at a disadvantage with its competitors.
With the sale of Sands Bethlehem it is understood that the company will use the funds to develop a casino resort in Japan should they win a license. Last year Sands said it would spend up to $10 billion in Japan if it were to gain approval to build a resort there.
