Sazka Group Annual Revenues Up By 6%

Sazka Group the Czech gaming company that is bidding for the UK National Lottery announced their full yearly results for 2020 showing a 6% rise in annual gross gaming revenues (GGR) for the year to €2.02 billion.

However profits for the company fell by 28% for the year to €224.4 million even with the recent acquisition of Casinos Austria and Stoixman, mainly due to the affects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the retail business.

The final quarter of the year for Sazka showed a rise of 12% in GGR to €597.2 million, with profits after tax to €134 million.
