Launched in 2010, the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards are strongly established as global gaming industry’s most prestigious and widely respected diversity event.
The 16th Women in Gaming Diversity awards honour excellence in promoting diversity and inclusion within the gaming industry. The WiGD Awards will reward and recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion.
The 16th WIGD awards introduced new category Multi-Cultural Company of the Year. This new and exciting award will recognise those companies that have gone above and beyond in creating a truly multi-cultural environment workforce. The winner of this special award will have shown that their company encourages behaviour of open and equal standing in all genders, races and ethnicity. Research has shown that a company that embraces a multi-cultural environment has great success and productivity that those companies that do not.
