Work in Australia lose your license in New Jersey say DGE

If Operators continue offering online gambling in Australia then you could lose your NJ gaming license

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has warned all online operators within their state that they could lose their license of they do not cease offering online gambling services to Australians.

As Australia locks down offshore gambling operators New Jersey has also come to the countries aid in warning any operators doing business still in Australia that this could seriously affect their license in the New Jersey state.

It also now requires those operators in New Jersey to show proof that they have ceased their operations in Australia to all Australian customers.

David Rebuck the Director of DGE said, “that if they fail to do so, it may result in the Division taking regulatory action against your company, including finding your company unsuitable for licensure in New Jersey.”

The DGE sent out a letter to operators first in April 2016 about not just Australia but other countries that had laws that are ambiguous or not enforced, that those operators should cease offering services.

“Operators must comply with Australia’s new laws and cease offering all prohibited services to customers in Australia. Failure to do so many result in the Division taking regulatory action against your company, including finding your company unsuitable for licensure in New Jersey.” Said Rebuk.
