bet365 first to launch Playtech native app

Loading speeds three times faster than HTML5 – Play more than 100 games in seconds

bet365 has become the first operator to go live with Playtech’s new native mobile casino application, offering instant gameplay and improved speed and performance across all iOS and Android devices.

bet365 players can download and play games in seconds, with loading speeds up to three times faster than HTML5 equivalents, giving them instant access to the most immersive mobile gameplay experience there is.

The five-star rated app, that has received hundreds of reviews, includes more than 100 native games including classic casino titles and all the latest Playtech slots. Games are optimised for all devices allowing players to enjoy cutting-edge casino action no matter what iOS or Android device they use.

Players can also personalise their experience by grouping their favourite games in one location, while also taking advantage of the industry’s biggest casino offers and cash rewards in a dedicated promotions section.

Playtech’s latest app includes a new native lobby for both iOS and Android devices. This features a flexible, device-centric layout and configuration as well as improved image quality allowing players to navigate with ease.

The new casino app is an upgrade to the operator’s existing mobile casino application. The app is available to download in the App Store. Existing players simply need to update the app, while Android users can download the app by visiting casino.bet365.com.

Shimon Akad, COO, Playtech, said: “Research, including a recent Nielsen report, suggests that 89% (vs. c.11% browser) of time on mobile is spent in-app, supporting the theory that native apps are what players want to use when gaming.

“Playtech has invested significantly in native technologies, backing up our strategy to provide the best solutions for our partners and their players. The instant and sticky native play functionality and new features will ensure our licensees can drive player values and make our new app the best on the market today.”

Christian H Bogstrand, Chief Executive Officer, bet365, said: “We have worked closely with Playtech on the development of the new Casino native app, ensuring we provide high quality content with a much faster and improved gaming experience.”
