Nevada August Revenues rise by almost 15%

Las Vegas Strip

August was a good month for Nevada as revenues jumped overall by 14.9% to $989.5 million from $861.1 million the year before the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported.

The Las Vegas Strip enjoyed an even bigger jump in revenues to 21.3%, downtown Las Vegas Strip did well also rising by 13.4%.

August is traditionally a big betting month and with the added attraction of bets with the Floyd Mayweather Jr.vs Conor McGregor fight it helped boost revenues even more.
